My late uncle took this beautiful shot of the tree in 1954. I think it was the first year of the angels.

This is the tree we planted when my wife and I first moved into our house. Together, we decided that when our daughter Laura turns 18 (she is 14 now and her birthday is Christmas Eve) we will cut it down and use it for our Christmas tree to celebrate. It means a lot to us and we are so proud of our tree and its story.

Just behind my apartment building is a great big pine tree that my complex decorates every year. It really puts my family and all my neighbors into the holiday spirit!

As you can see, this beautiful tree is very close to my cherished farmhouse. Too close, in fact. I hate to see it go, but its roots have begun to damage the structure and I fear someday it may even fall. I would love to put it to good use, giving it to the Rockefeller Center as the Christmas tree would allow me to show it the respect it deserves. Thank you kindly for your consideration.

My wife Woodly and I have always enjoyed spending time with nature on our deck. Last year, she found the perfect way to make it more festive. She used the umbrella hole in the center of our patio table to secure a little decorated tree.
